Enjoy! The boys are growing tons and Meleia is acting so grown up now, it’s amazing!
So this past week we have had doug’s parents here, which was so nice. they finally got to meet collin and cade in person and fell in love with them of course and of course, how they love meleia. while they were here we had the pleasure of having meleia’s fourth birthday, getting to show them more around town, and go out to eat a few times.. other than that, we just hung around with the kids! besides that, things are going well. doug now is showing his videos on the chamber’s website as well as rolling along on http://www.incentervilleiowa.com I am still going with school with. I have the first nine weeks done this week and finals for those two classes. Then on to two more! We also hope to take Meleia to the zoo next weekend, and Zack and Conner finally get to come visit. Obviously, it’s been a busy time around here! Here are a TON of picture to enjoy!

Once again, a quick post. Things are going well around here. Everyone is healthy and happy and smiling Also, things continue the same, with douglas home, me still in school, and the children busy, busy. We had a wonderful fourth of july and hope everyone else did as well! Meleia’s birthday is coming in a couple short weeks, as well as the boys being 8 months! How time flies! Also, we are expecting Pat and Ollie around Meleia’s birthday time, so how exciting! Can’t wait to see you guys. For now, here are some pictures…

Amazing that it’s been almost eight months since we have all been cleaned up, matching, together, and someone around to take a picture of all of us. Shows what a hectic life we have around here! I have lots of new pictures to update, but for now.. here is our family picture!

We are all happy and healthy here, hope you all are too.
we have all had appointments and have been getting a lot accomplished at home. I have sold most of the boys’ clothes that don’t fit, as well as tons of meleia’s clothes… so my next chore is to clean up the basement. BLAH. not fun. but my ocd self will do it doug has a big opportunity coming up early next week, good luck honey! Collin has started sitting up and Cade is rolling over more and more and trying to crawl. We have recently gotten a kitten for Meleia as well, but no photos right now as she is so skiddish it’s hard to catch her but soon. her name is meeshka and is adorable. meleia LOVES her and acts like she is a baby. she says “she is a child to us mom, dont let her cry” LOL so funny.

Hope all is well out there!!
Things are going well around here, as usual. The boys are growing and trying to use sippy cups! They are so funny. Meleia is anxious being out of school, but we are trying to occupy her time, if it would just STOP raining here. We have been planting flowers and today got the back porch cleared of toys and ready for her swimming pool. (The boys even have crabs with sunshade floaties grandma connie got them, adorable) Douglas is still off work, but hopefully has his problem figured out and can get back there soon with his new medication. InCentervilleIowa.com is still doing great and he is out taking lots of videos for this. I am still continuing school and loving it. Wish I could speed up time and finish!! Things are good here though, and we are getting ready for special company the end of July.

Yesterday was a special day as it was grandma Joy’s 79th birthday. We had a huge open house when my grandfather turned 80- and he shortly passed away after that. So unfortunately this day also brought sad memories as well, knowing that we will have a big bash for gramdma when she turns 80 and then what happens? Anyways, none of this was thought of as family, friends, and children filled the party room and grandma was full of love. The twins brighten her eyes, as she doesn’t see them often.. along with her many children (8), grandchildren, and great grand children. She had a great time and I am so glad.

So to begin with a small note.. certain features on my blog have been broken lately.. douglas is creating me a new theme, so in the mean time i will continue to post here and either link to the new blog or move everything over.. HM. Maybe the easier of the two!
Anyways, let’s hope that Tuesday was Doug’s last surgery and that it is only healing and up heal from now…
I have enrolled in school. SURPRISE. Through the University of Phoenix online for Medical Administrations with a concentration in transcription and coding. Pretty exciting and scary!! I can go to school all from home though and more or less in my own time, as well as once I complete my degree I can get a job from home!!!! So let’s hope this all goes as planned too.
We’ve still been working on http://www.incentervilleiowa.com and are planning on attending Lazerfest on Sunday, but there are a lot of “if’s” about that.. It will definitely be disappointing if it doesn’t work out.
On another note.. Mother’s Day was terrific… It has been a tradition in the family for the children and female adults to always have lunch with my grandmother.. who is in the nursing home this year. That didn’t stop us The nursing home blocked of the “salon” area and I took all the kids, as well as my mother, my sister, my aunt lori and aunt debbie, my sister, and cousin crystal and her son all went and enjoyed lunch with grandma. it was a special time. you never know if it could be her last mother’s day.. Doug, meleia, and the boys got me an amazing card and coffee mug, plus a t shirt that says “mom’s rock” which is just like me I am very grateful.
So yes, a lot if going on.. Lots that I didn’t even mention but here are a few picture updates and hopefully you’ll see the new website soon!!

PS. the boys will be SIX months the 20th! Can’t believe it!!
Today was a very special day for me. Meleia’s school had a special “muffins with mom” gathering for mother’s day. it was very neat. the tables were set with beautiful flowers in the middle, name tags, and our mother’s day gifts.. the class came in and sang a few song for us, told us a few nursery rhymes with guest MOTHER GOOSE and then we got to enjoy yummy muffins with juice. I have a video at the end of the post. This even over filled my heart with love for Meleia.. and as her teachers told me a few days ago at conference, Meleia really has grown up.. I love our daughter..
