this year father’s day was a extra special beings meleia had someone that she could dedicate the day too.. she was so funny while we were shopping for douglas and my dad, saying “happy father’s day” as loud as she could throughout the store.. her and douglas spent a lot of time together saturday afternoon outside while i got to go visit my father.. unfortunately i had no camera with me, but he loved his gifts and got a nice surprise of visiting with my brother and nephew that i don’t see often while i was there… saturday night i got a baby sitter for meleia and “the twins” took douglas out to eat at the manhatten. it was soooo good 
maybe that’s because douglas let me and the twins have steak, while he had ravoli and salad.. which i ate some of as well!!! sunday we went to the annual family bbq at debbie and john’s… it is always held for father’s day, as well as for my grandma and grandpa’s (who is gone now, sadly) birthday.. their house is so incredible and it is such a nice area for a family get together.. there is even tv wired up in the tree house for the kids.. hehe.. after eating and the heat, it was home for a nap for the daddy of the day.. and then some more family time with crystal and jerod while meleia and braydin swam in the pool… meleia even stayed the night with grandma so douglas and i had the evening alone… a terrific father’s day, he says… i sure hope so next year there will be two more little ones to help me make the day even more special!
